Working Principle
The BM-2 works on the transmitted light observation principle. Light from the arc reflector below the stage passes upward through the condenser. The Abbe condenser focuses the light onto the slide, improving clarity and contrast.
The specimen image then travels through the objective lens. The achromatic lenses reduce color distortion, ensuring a sharp and accurate image.
The magnified image passes through the eyepiece for final enlargement, giving students a clear view of cell structures and fine slide details.
The coarse focusing mechanism moves the observation tube vertically using a rack-and-pinion system, while the fine focusing screw allows micro-adjustments. This dual focusing system helps young learners achieve accurate focus with ease.
